A wonderful anthology full of fighting spirit against the Supreme Court overturning Roe vs Wade.

Considering the timeframe from which this movie was ideated and created, and the political importance it has to tell I really respected the movie. It really is an anthology more than a set storyline, but all deal with the loss of freedom and bodily autonomy of women. The various films within the anthology vary in tone and feature some surprising notable actors.

I was expecting this movie to give me a variety of creative ideas and this anthology really delivers. It’s a great mix of horror and comedy that manages to feel consistent even with so many different segments. Some shorts lean more into the absurd, others have some surprisingly effective practical effects that look fantastic in 4K. The slipcase art is striking and looks great on the shelf next to my other boutique releases. Definitely a must-have for fans of modern indie horror!

Give Me an A is an indie film that dives into the ambitions, anxieties, and messy personal dynamics of its young characters. The story captures a slice of life marked by intensity, desire for recognition, and the sometimes chaotic pursuit of goals.
Performances are vibrant and immediate, giving the film a palpable sense of energy and realism. The narrative is episodic, prioritizing character interaction and emotional beats over conventional structure, which can feel both immersive and unpredictable.
This is a film for those who appreciate raw, energetic storytelling, where the highs and lows of youth are explored with authenticity and emotional immediacy.
