If you're a fan pick it up, might not be for all tastes though. As usual vinegar syndrome outdoes theirselves with image and packaging.

Eight Eyes has such a nasty little atmosphere to it. The Balkan locations do a ton of heavy lifting, and shooting on 16mm and Super 8 gives the whole thing this dirty, lived-in texture that makes it feel like some lost Euro-horror movie instead of a modern production. The further Cass and Gav get pulled into Saint Peter’s orbit, the more uncomfortable and unpredictable it gets.
Bruno Veljanovski is the standout for me. He has this unsettling presence where you never really know how dangerous he is until things are already way too far gone. The movie gets weird, violent, and increasingly nightmarish without losing that grimy travel-horror vibe. The score from Morricone Youth fits it perfectly too.
The Blu-ray looks great, but in the right way — plenty of texture, grain, and rough edges instead of trying to make the movie look overly clean. Vinegar Syndrome clearly knew what kind of movie they were making here. Weird little ******* of a film, and definitely staying in the collection.
