This listing is for the standard edition Blu-ray/DVD combo. The limited edition slipcover (designed by Justin Talarski) was limited to 2,500 units and is sold out. The two versions are identical, aside from the slipcover.

In director James Bryan's 1981 cult classic, a group of obnoxious campers venture into the wilderness for what they assume will be a fun filled weekend. Unknown to them, a bloodthirsty maniac is hiding in the woods, watching their every move, and violently killing them, one by one, every chance he gets... Filled with low-fi gore effects and black humor, DON'T GO IN THE WOODS remains one of the quintessential regional slasher films of the early 80s, and is coming to Blu-ray for the very first time, newly restored in 2K from the 35mm Interpositive and loaded with extras.

80s Slasher Madness

"What DGITW lacks in polish, acting, and well, competence, it more than makes up for in effort, ambition, and general insanity. There's some bonkers characters, lots of nice scenery, some surprising gore, and a memorable villain. If you're a slasher fan, it's a film you must experience in all its glory, especially in this beautifully restored VS release, stacked with extras."

Kyle S. (4/5)

Fun Slasher Release

"A very fun cult horror release with the rough-edged charm fans expect from this kind of film. The transfer is solid, the atmosphere comes through well, and the overall presentation makes it a great collector’s edition."

Thomas L. (4/5)

Don't Go In the Woods

"Great old slasher, cheap fun and simple."

Matti J. (5/5)

NEXT!

"So many random people gets killed in the woods in this film thats it starts to get really tiresome. New scene, new people, new kill. Next scene, new people die and then one of them run away to meet som more random people that also gets killed."

Bjarte A. (2/5)

Creepy ‘80s Slasher

"One of my favorites alongside Just Before Dawn, The Burning, and Friday the 13th films - ‘80s wilderness slasher goodness!"

Oh boy. Is this “so

"Oh boy. Is this “so bad it’s good” or just bad? Not sure. It’s entertaining but don’t go in expecting a serious slasher."

Dale V. (2/5)

So bad it's good!

"The kind of slasher film so incompetent it makes you realize how much of a masterpiece Friday the 13th is. So yeah, pure fun!"
