Degausser Video Deluxe VHS Box Protector

A wonderfully bizarre piece of Mexican genre cinema directed by Alfredo Salazar, blending possessed-doll horror with the aesthetics of a low-budget telenovela. After inheriting a mysterious estate in Mexico City, Tony and Annie become terrorized by a sinister clown doll connected to a series of deadly accidents. Starring Lorena Herrera, Roberto Guinar and Margarito Esparza, this strange Mexican take on the killer-doll craze is every bit as bizarre as its reputation suggests.

The film gets a particularly fantastic physical-media treatment from Degausser Video, the Vinegar Syndrome label dedicated to preserving the aesthetics of obscure video-era genre cinema. The ultra-limited VHS edition comes in a custom hard-shell light box, while the Blu-ray presents the film from the best surviving archival tape material, with newly translated English subtitles, a commentary by film historian Hugo Lara and an interview with Roberto Guinar. A perfect release for collectors who love discovering the weirdest corners of VHS horror.

It's perfect plan on ordering more

The Degausser Video Deluxe VHS Box absolutely nails the nostalgic video-store aesthetic. The oversized VHS-inspired presentation immediately gives it personality and makes it feel like a collectible rather than just another piece of packaging.

The design is the biggest attraction. Everything about it embraces the look and feel of the VHS era, from the artwork to the physical presentation, while still having the polished construction expected from a modern boutique release.

The overall quality is excellent, with sturdy materials and crisp printing that allow the artwork to really stand out. It's the kind of packaging that looks especially good displayed alongside other retro-inspired physical media.

Overall, this is a fun, well-made collectible for anyone who appreciates VHS nostalgia and elaborate boutique packaging.

Fits like a glove, well worth the money!

Bought for my first VHS purchase from VS, the ****** Night VHS from Degausser Video and it fits great and keeps it safe from dusts.
