Pure, glorious grindhouse revenge, but what really blew me away is how fiercely committed it is to its radical, pro-tenant politics. Beneath all the wild kung-fu action, cheesy dubbing, and deadly booby traps lies a genuinely angry, uncompromising critique of greedy slumlords devastating working-class NYC neighborhoods.

Bought this for the tagline Filthy rich landlords get away with murder. It's time to pay for it. This revenge movie is one of my favorite vS movies for the nice revenge of the working class on a rich landlord

- ALAaron L.Verified Buyer3 months agoRated 4 out of 5 starsA wild NYC tale with a killer soundtrack
This movie is wild—pure NYC martial arts exploitation trash. It’s kind of slow to start, but overall, I had a great time with it. It gets docked for being extremely predictable, the bad guys always get their *** kicked, and mediocre fighting, but the cheese and the last fight make up for it.
