Reviews
A Stunning Release of a Modern Horror Favorite
"A fantastic shot of modern horror and the French extremity. This title was one of my favorite discoveries last year, and the new cover and presentation make it feel even more essential. A tight, beautifully assembled release of a deeply unsettling film."
— Gregory B. (5/5)
Calvaire - Blu-Ray review
"Brilliant folk horror movie with very weird atmosphere. Plus Brigitte Lahaie makes a cameo appearance."
— NIKOS D. (5/5)
ok
"The problem with this film is it‘s too slow paced. And also it doesn‘t know what it wants to be a comedy or a thriller. Too tame for a thriller and too dark for a comedy. Also the finale is umsatisfying and the film just ends. We thought that this guy will at least take out his enemies in the end. We both expected more from this film. Luckily we got it on sale."
— Richelle S. (3/5)

definitive release for French gem
"Hadn't watched since it first came out. . . saw it on streaming and then immediately ordered this blu-ray. Obviously, the quality of sound and image on this disc puts the streaming counterpart to shame. I found this to be one of the most curious and richest texts to emerge from the New French Extremity, and the supplements included certainly help shed some light on this often overlooked gem. Huge recommend for fans of the sub-genre."
— Jon R. (5/5)
DON'T BURN MY VAN MAN!
"DON'T BURN MY VAN MAN! A STRANGE FOLK HORROR FILM IN THE STYLE OF DIRECTOR David Lynch! NICE BLU RAY, WITH GREAT COVER WITH COOL EXTRAS! 9/10"
— Derek L. (4/5)
