ATTENTION, DIE HARD HORROR FANS! Picture this: An unrated, gore-soaked 100 percent politically incorrect "monster movie" starring Joe Pilato from DAY OF THE DEAD, Joe Spinell from MANIAC, Zoe Tamerlis from MRS.45, Bill Moseley from TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE 2, Clu Gulager from RETURN OF THE LIVING DEAD, and even Trent Hagga from KILLJOY. How can this be possible? Well, any twisted thing is possible in the pages of BOTTOMFEEDER, the legendary, critically-acclaimed "star-studded" graphic novel from Eibon Press, who brought you the insane adaptations of Lucio Fulci's ZOMBIE, HOUSE BY THE CEMETERY and William Lustig's MANIAC. In the dead of night, a twisted, sex-crazed mutant creature stalks the streets of San Lucifer, California, tearing apart everything in its way and planting its vile seed in man and woman alike... and the one person who can stop it is the most terrible monster of them all. That's bad lieutenant Joe Angell of the San Lucifer police, whose appetite for destruction is matched only by his burning hatred of all humankind. Yep, this guy is our only hope. And the future looks bleak indeed. It all coalesces into a mutation so gruesome and a final battle so shocking that even when you see it, you won't believe we did it.
Originally conceived to be the most extreme creature-feature horror film ever made, BOTTOMFEEDER instead became one of the most controversial comic book series of all time, filled with so much mayhem and madness that DREAD CENTRAL actually called it "The best horror film of 2018... even though it's not a horror film." They also called it a "skin crawling experience." The original Eibon Press run of this insane series sold out long ago, and a special black and white "noir" edition also sold out. But now you can own the entire twisted saga in this super-limited FULL COLOR release that restores the series to its original blood-red luster and collects all six chapters for the first time. This edition also features a forward by champion mojo storyteller Joe R. Lansdale and all-new writings on the series by its creator Shawn Lewis and Joseph Melendez Jr. This is the DEFINITIVE release of BOTTOMFEEDER, the one you must own... just to prove to your friends that something this nasty really exists.
We're not kidding, folks. It's that vile.
It's also one of the most wickedly brilliant horror stories ever told, in which bad guys become the heroes, and our heroes descend into a slimy darkness you will never forget.
"An uncompromising indulgence into raw meanness for those who still like their horror stories grisly, shocking, raunchy, and disturbing. It’s the hardest of hardboiled noir nihilism mixed with the most exploitative of exploitation film hedonism, not a love letter but a lust letter to the films of Abel Ferrara and Roger Corman."
