Unique to this line, each hand numbered limited edition release will come fitted in a specially designed, bottom loading VHS inspired slipcase, while also including a double-sided poster.
These releases will ONLY be available on our website and at participating indie retailers. Absolutely no major retailers will be stocking them. This slipcase edition (designed by Gary Pullin) is strictly limited to 4,000 units and may (but probably not) be followed by a standard edition in the future.

Zoology professor, Dr. Brian Lockhart, has long been fascinated by the legend of Bigfoot. Having heard tales of the mythic furry creature wreaking havoc in the swamps of Louisiana, Dr. Lockhart sets out to investigate these strange occurrences for himself, aided by a ragtag team including assistant Leslie Ann Walker and local kid, Tim Thornton. Hitting the road in their camper, the group encounter person after person who relay their strange and often frightening encounters with the beast, while the creature itself remains elusive…though as they get deeper into the wilderness, stranger things begin to happen. Could the stories be true? And if Bigfoot is really out there, is he friend or foe, but most importantly what does he want?

Vinegar Syndrome Archive presents this mash up of backwoods folktale and vanity project on Blu-ray for the very first time, newly restored from rare 35mm elements.

"Movie: Overall kind of a nothingburger, but there are a few interesting things that happen. The highlight is definitely the scene where somehow "sensors" + an '80s computer hooked to a generator allow a group of people who are _camping_ to have essentially a functioning **radar** that can also _estimate the weight of things moving around in the woods_! Graded on the low-budget curve it's actually pretty suspenseful. After that it falls off a lot. We get a pretty egregiously acted scene where the two female leads get stuck out in the woods for NO REASON, other than probably misogyny. Towards the end it starts to feel like a vanity project, and you remember that the lead actor is also the director. Extras: In addition to the commentary track you also get a double-side poster, although I wish one side were the original poster art for the movie."
