Not the most exciting W. A. V. E. movie, but definitely worth watching if you're a fan, or enjoy regional, zero-budget shot-on-video oddities. Surprisingly, I enjoyed the sequel quite a bit more than the original. The cable access interview with Terri Lewandowski/Christine Cavalier was definitely a treasure, but to my aurprise/disappointment, it never even mentions the fact that they are mother/daughter. The bonus short, Thrill Kill, is one of the worst I've seen, which comes directly from Christine Cavalier Damsels in Distress video. Also sorely lacking was a commentary with Gary Whitson, or from anyone involved in the production. I do enjoy Richard Mogg's commentary tracks on these W. A. V. E. releases, but he does give quite a bit of misinformation and/or contradicts his own claims of fandom at times.
All in all, this is another solid W. A. V. E. release from Saturn's Core, but if you're new to W. A. V. E. movies, this one might be a pretty patience-challenging introduction.
Here's hoping Saturn's Core begins putting our some of William Hellfire's Factory 2000 movies, such as the Lesbos Slaughter series, the Infamous Bondage Murders trilogy, or the Electric Cord Strangler trilogy. There are so many gems to be rediscovered, but it seems the head of a certain independent film company might be sitting on those copyrights, letting them rot to dust. I sincerely hope that's not the case.
