A funny and witty film that does a genuinely excellent job at depicting the rapidly evolving culture of this period. The inclusion of the extended miniseries is amazing and really helps provide a more fleshed out version of the film that I highly reccommend. An amazing biopic which should be the new standard for the genre!

Matt Johnson's best film of the decade. In my opinion, the humor and it. Also the extended cut that was exclusive to AMC is amazing. I love the comedy in this one. I love the slipcover on this release. I can only hope they do a release of operation avalanche eventually.
- TL70mm MemberTim L.Verified Buyer1 month agoRated 5 out of 5 starsA Funny and Fascinating Tech Rise and Fall
BlackBerry is a sharp, fast-moving dramatization of the rise and collapse of the company that transformed mobile communication. Jay Baruchel and Glenn Howerton are excellent, with Howerton's explosive performance giving the movie some of its funniest and most uncomfortable moments.
The film deliberately looks rougher than a typical corporate drama. The handheld camerawork and grainy picture give it an almost documentary-like quality that fits the chaotic startup culture and helps distinguish it visually from more polished tech biopics.
The supplemental features are a welcome addition, especially for a film based on such a fascinating period in technology history. They add context to the real people and events that inspired the story and make the physical release feel more complete.
Overall, BlackBerry is funny, tense, and surprisingly compelling, even if you already know how the story ends.
