JUST IN TIME FOR HALLOWEEN... THE SAGA OF THE 7 GATES IS HERE!
From the creators of MASTERS OF HORROR and A HISTORY OF VIOLENCE...
Norman Boyle has been sent along with his wife Lucy and their 9-year-old son Bob to The Freudstein House, to solve the mystery of his predecessor's bloody disappearance. But deep in the dark of this eerie house by the cemetery, voices beckon from beyond and an ethereal little girl warns Bob of the terrors that await them, at the mercy of a terrifying undead gatekeeper of hell who will stop at nothing to extend his own motral life through the blood of innocents. As nightmares become reality, the body count goes up... and as darkness closes in and the Boyle family is dragged into hell, the story of Doctor Freudstein is revealed to be just the beginning of the epic SAGA OF THE 7 GATES, in which Norman's wife Lucy will discover her remarkable heritage as one of a coven of mystical sisters who may be the last hope for humanity against an evil so profound that it threatens the death of all mankind and the destruction of the entire universe, in a terrible dimension of evil, beyond the house by the cemetery...
In the early 1980s, legendary director Lucio Fulci began his celebrated "Gates Of Hell Trilogy" with a series of Italian horror films that shocked the world. In 2017, Eibon Press began "The Saga of the 7 Gates," an epic series of comic books based on Fulci's films, hailed by critics and fans alike. Now, just in time for Halloween, comes the first-ever graphic novel collection of the Saga, combining Eibon's acclaimed adaptation of "The House By The Cemetery" with more than ONE HUNDRED BONUS PAGES that continue the Saga and set up the final two chapters, also coming soon as graphic novels. BEYOND THE HOUSE BY THE CEMETERY is TWO HUNDRED AND FIFTY PAGES of never-before-collected horror mayhem, adapting the films and going far beyond them in an absolutely epic expansion of Fulci's cinematic universe, worthy of the best horror novels ever written. Only 1,500 copies have been produced, in two limited collector's editions, written by acclaimed author STEPHEN ROMANO (MASTERS OF HORROR) and with art by the legendary VINCE LOCKE, co-creator of A HISTORY OF VIOLENCE and DEADWORLD. For die-hard horror fans and followers of Fulci, this is a must-own item.
