A pretty good double feature anthology release by Dark Star. Pretty low budget and definitely not a masterpiece but a pretty fun low budget ride for a lazy Sunday. The presentation was nice and all in all a good purchase.

Beware the Boogeyman + Revenge of the Boogeyman is a fun double feature that embraces old-school indie horror with plenty of atmosphere and practical effects. While connected by theme, each film has its own personality, making the set feel varied and entertaining for fans of regional horror.
The included features add real value, offering background on the productions and the people behind them. They provide helpful context and make the release feel like a true collector’s edition rather than just a pair of films.
The overall release is thoughtfully assembled, with a clean presentation and strong transfer quality that preserves the gritty charm of the originals. Everything feels curated with horror fans in mind.
Although not a true anthology, the pairing works well as a companion set, giving viewers two different takes on the same supernatural concept.
Overall, this is an enjoyable release for anyone who appreciates independent horror and boutique physical media.
