Description

Prepare for a movie marathon from the eighth dimension. BACKYARD BLOODBATHS is a triple feature of underground horror discoveries that have never been widely released. First is SUMMER HORROR DAY—a Casiocore splatterfest from the UK Video Nasty era that was shot entirely on Super 8 film. From there, we encounter 777—an experimental serial killer artifact that was conjured on video tape by teenagers in Tucson, Arizona and has never been released on any format. Finally, we visit BLACK MAMBA—a crazed psychedelic anthology from undiscovered auteur Belinda M. Wilson. Plus, the blood keeps flowing with THE PSYCHOTIC ODYSSEY OF RICHARD CHASE, A.I. MAMA, and BLOOD BATH: TALES OF EERIE PUBLICATIONS—three shorts that provide an ideal chaser for this surreal experience.

    Underground Horror Treasure Chest

This is the kind of Bleeding Skull release that makes collecting these discs fun: a strange, scrappy pile of regional and underground horror discoveries that probably would have stayed buried otherwise. The triple-feature angle, the Super 8/video texture, and the extra shorts make it feel like a proper late-night marathon of outsider horror. Great weird stuff.

    Black Mamba

You’ll never see anything else like it, and for that alone it’s a film worthy of circulation and discussion.

    Black Mamba makes this worthy

Black Mamba is truly unique. From the inner dialogue of every character to a completely original use of cheap FX it’s a film that succeeds on its own terms.
