Not sure this elevates the events of the first film, but it certainly pushes the characters forward—unlike the **** one—(I said what I said). To this day, I gotta say, not titling this Angel II: Avenging Angel seems like an odd choice. But maybe they just didn’t think there would be a third one. Glad VS brought the series back into print. Hitting that OCD sweet spot with needing all three slips!

Not exactly what I was suspecting, but in a good way. A solid release from VS.

Wasn't really sure how I felt about this one for a bit, as they added this wacky screwball element that definitely wasn't present as much in the first film. The crazy scenes just kept adding up, culminating in a bonkers finale. It was this point that I just gave in: This ain't a great movie, but it's also somehow kinda fun and awesome too. Better than expected.

While not as good as the original it's still very entertaining and looks amazing, thanks to Vinegar Syndrome.

The original may be the best of the series but Avenging Angel has always been one of my favorites. And revisiting it on Blu Ray only made me love it even more!
