"Motel Drive is a really raw and human documentary that avoids feeling overly polished or manipulative, which makes the story hit even harder. The film does a great job showing the exhausting reality of housing insecurity and addiction without turning the people on screen into stereotypes or pity cases. It’s quietly heartbreaking at times, but there’s also a sense of resilience running through it that sticks with you after it ends."
