                            Old school

"So cool to see a modern film doing things the old fashioned way and on 16mm too"

                            Dave C. (4/5)

                            One to look out for

"Underrated shudder gem, I wasn’t expecting the end result from how the film starts but it gets wild and fun"

                            Steven R. (5/5)

                            A Wounded Fawn

"For the most part this film wasn’t for me. But it looks incredible. There are moments in the film that have cool concepts and visuals. But the Blu-ray is a nice addition to my collection."

                            Ant D. (5/5)

                            Surrealist Vibes

"Movie: I went back and forth multiple times while watching this movie. There are some really great sequences alongside some parts that are just _frustrating_ to watch. Unfortunately the ending note was frustration, which is a shame, because some of the visuals will definitely stick with me. Extras: A little light, but I did enjoy the interviews. The short film was _fine_ Book: Nice background on the female surrealists who inspired the film. Packaging: Beautiful slipcover, although a bit of a spoiler."

                            Gideon M. (4/5)

                            Awesome psychological/monster horror

"Whether you view it as a monster movie or just a psychological trip, it's great. No complaints with the disc or the shipping process"

                            John N. (5/5)

                            Style Over Substance?

"This was my second film by this director. He has some very interesting visuals in this film. It has some Greek mythology thrown into this serial killer story making it pretty interesting."

                            Nathan L. (4/5)

                            A Wounded Fawn (2022)

"Directed by Travis Stevens (Girl on the Third Floor). Starring Josh Ruben (Greener Grass), Sarah Lind (The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford), and Malin Barr (The Beta Test). A couple’s (Ruben and Lind) getaway to a remote cabin turns deadly when the secrets of a Hellenistic statue are revealed. Tense thriller may lose some people in the radically different second half. The execution is questionable at times, but the film still has lots of scares and creativity. 7/10. Shudder."

                            Aidan Z. (4/5)

                            Great Shudder release

"Great film and great release. Decent bonus features but nothing amazing"

                            Colin B. (4/5)

                            A Wounded Fawn

"My kind of romcom! Solid start, flags a bit, great end titles. An enjoyable trip into a deranged mind with some good, striking imagery. Gutted I missed the slip for this one :("

                            Steven A. (4/5)

                            A Wounded Fawn.

"A neat presentation of A wounded Fawn, a slightly different take on the revenge film. The film is good a building suspense, with a logical sequence of events leading to the films conclusion (I'm trying not to spoil anything here). In addition the film is shot in such a way that makes it hard to gauge when exactly the film is set. It wasn't entirely clear to me until a fair way into the film. Also included a interviews with the cast, special effects, costumer and score composer. I'm not personally a fan of the slip cover, though I do love the inside case image."

                            Luke S. (4/5)
