Description

Sarah Collins (Sarah Bolger, Mayans M.C., The Tudors, Emelie) is a single mother struggling to raise two young children while searching for answers about the unsolved murder of her husband. After being coerced into helping a low-level drug dealer, she finds herself the target of a dangerous crime boss. Desperate to keep her family safe, Sarah turns the tables on her victimizers in one final act of brutal vengeance.

Set in the dark underbelly of Northern Ireland, Abner Pastoll's A GOOD WOMAN IS HARD TO FIND is a “lean, mean, painfully real crime thriller” featuring “one hell of a performance” by Sarah Bolger that “will make you cheer [for] her ability to overcome the worst of humanity and come out the other end kicking all sorts of ass” (Slash Film).

    Sarah Bolger stands out

I liked the film a lot more the first time I saw it. Sarah Bolger is the highlight here. It's a good release though, and I always appreciate a printed booklet that tells me more about the movie.

    What an ending

So the lead character makes some less than stellar decisions but by the end things go nuts. A really good flick. Definitely needs a wider audience.

    Too bad

I wish the slip cover art was different, the movie looks really cool and the normal cover is great but not the slip cover.

Dark but fun film. Completely insane final act that makes you forgive any bad decisions made by the main character. Really glad to finally have this one in my collection.
