"Is it a morality tale preaching against the high stakes of infidelity OR a lust-filled, blood-soaked, voyeuristic romp without concern for consequences? THE BLACK ROOM (1981) is both: a strange, atmospheric, mean-spirited gem of indulgences taking place in an old Hollywood mansion where your fantasies can come to life...and death. Vinegar Syndrome pulled this title from VHS obscurity for fans of bizarre, genre-defying, early 80s underseen WTF cinema."
