Brandon Upson - Restoration Artist & Scanning Operator

"Newly scanned in 4K and preserved from the original camera negative, this is a film for me that represents a foundational point with Vinegar Syndrome. Not just in terms of a lost film rediscovered and was one of our very first releases, but one that's a time capsule of the grind of 1970s New York City. With its wild proto-slasher plot, a pool orgy that turns into a solid French Connection-style car chase, numerous breathtaking 42nd Street footage in it's glory, plus so many more moments that make this a true lost-and-found exploitation holy grail for everyone to see."
