Kurtis Spieler - Restoration Artist

"If you like movies with monsters, stop motion, practical FX, and a dancing killer in a clown mask whose head spontaneously combusts, then I've got a movie for you. Winterbeast is a great example of a regionally made, no-budget epic. This movie means a lot to me because I did a ton of work on the restoration. We had a mix of both 16mm and super 8mm film elements, including original camera rolls, negative, workprint, etc., and my job was to painstakingly piece it all back together. So, do yourself a favor and pick up our Home Grown Horrors Vol. 1 box set to check out this gem, along with the other two movies in the set. Oh, and keep an eye out for a certain phallic item inexplicably placed in a wooden box for some reason."
