Kurtis Spieler - Restoration Artist

"A Blade in the Dark is a prime example of what makes Vinegar Syndrome so cool. Because of previous releases, my impression of the movie was always a little tainted as it was never really treated with the respect it deserves. I’m happy that we decided to go all out on this release. It helped me appreciate the movie on a whole new level, as if I was truly seeing it for the first time. It's what makes restoration so important. On a personal note, this was one of the most labor intensive restorations I have ever worked on, so please give this overlooked giallo/slasher another spin."
