Something Weird
One of the most significant home video labels in the history of the medium, Something Weird nearly single handedly revived the demand for exploitation and sexploitation cinema, also helping to unearth and release on video more previously lost films than any other label before or since. Amongst their storied catalog, few names were as significant as The Mighty Monarch of Exploitation, David F. Friedman whose incredible contributions to genre cinema were matched only by his encyclopedic knowledge of every facet of exploitation movie history. In partnership with Distribpix, Something Weird will at last be bringing to Blu-ray nearly all of Friedman's still-unavailable-in-HD features, in newly restored, deluxe collector's editions.
