The Invisible Maniac

The Invisible Maniac is a new take on a familiar character. It’s exactly what you hope it would be. Join our titular Maniac as he breaks new ground in Physics and uses his findings to see the stellar cast naked. Ms Cello is a hidden gem among the cast. When he finally snaps and the killing spree starts, he kills with a glee while dropping one liners and laughing away. This 4k is a beautiful transfer of a movie I never heard of prior to the release. The mono sound is clear and the soundtrack is a lot of fun at times. Good gore and fun kills. If you like slashers and want a good time along the way, this could very well be the pick for you. This was a total blind buy and has quickly become something I’d suggest to anyone.

The actors (not characters) are doing everything short of actually impaling themselves for real to sell these fights. It carries over the comedic yet sinister energy of the original Universal Invisible man. But with *****. Frankly a very good times, if not a particularly great movie.

The Invisible Maniac is a wild mix of horror, comedy, and shameless exploitation. The absurd story, exaggerated performances, and playful special effects make the film entertaining from beginning to end. Noel Peters fully embraces the madness of the lead role, giving the film much of its strange charm. Vinegar Syndrome gives this cult oddity the polished presentation and care it deserves. A fun release for fans of ridiculous and unapologetic genre cinema.

I love films from the 80s-90s, kinda reminded of the the slumber party massacre trilogy

This was a blind buy, and in spite of the insane amount of sleaze and T&A it failed to grab me. Nice 4K transfer though!
