Mutilation maniacs on the loose! BLOOD-A-RAMA TRIPLE FRIGHTMARE II collects three sun-baked, kitsch-gore horror classicks that were produced in the shadow of the iconic BLOOD FEAST. In LOVE GODDESSES OF BLOOD ISLAND aka SIX SHE’S AND A HE—presented in its long-lost, original uncut version for the first time ever—a man (Bill Rogers, A TASTE OF BLOOD) washes ashore on an island inhabited only by women . . . with a taste for guts. FOLLOW THAT SKIRT aka MONDO WEIRDO follows the exploits of a creepozoid slasher in a vortex of bad taste that would make John Waters proud. Finally, THE UNDERTAKER AND HIS PALS tells the delightful story of a fast food joint that serves more than hamburgers. Featuring a commentary track from actor/comedian Patton Oswalt and an option to watch the full program in “drive-in” mode, this collection will provide you with a true night to dismember.

Wow

"I never thought I'd see the full, uncut "Love Goddesses of Cannibal Isle" - it's so meditative, low-key surreal, a truly Florida state of mind. (I'm still holding onto my Something Weird dvd-r because it has a bunch of incredible dance shorts as bonus features). "Undertaker and His Pals" is of course a horror-comedy classic. The drive-in viewing option is glorious for a lazy Saturday night, immaculate 60s scuzz vibes"

Mixed bag of goodies

"Where to start here. . . Love Goddesses of Blood Island (inexplicably released under the less interesting title Six Shes and a He) is beautifully restored, fully uncut, and absolutely bonkers. Easily the best of the 3 flicks here, and looks the best. Follow that Skirt is more explicit, and less interesting, dragging at 27min. Nicely restored, though has some print damage. The Undertaker is the weakest of the 3 films, a bizarre comedy horror that never really worked for me, with gore inserts from medical footage that looks poor. From a rougher 16mm print as well. The drive in inserts and trailers are a great extra, as is the fun commentary on Undertaker. The Booklet is very informative and a must read before the movies to give them context, as these are very obscure movies (Goddesses was long lost in its complete form)"

'60s HGL-style gore movies with a wink

"I had a blast with these films, with their extremely colorful appearance (especially Love Goddesses Of Blood Island, which absolutely popped from the screen) and H. G. Lewis-style gore. I missed out on the slipcover, which is a shame, but the booklet was still included."

Good compilation

"Again good compilation of lesser known movies."

Night Moves

"Another killer (pun intended) collection of entertaining drive in fare."

Bloodarama

"This release is amazing. The movies in this set aren't my favorite, but the fact that one of these films was partially lost and that the undertaker and his was only available in terrible quality before this makes it such an exciting release"

Only Good for The Undertaker and His Pals

"Movies: Love Goddesses of Blood Island: Interesting premise, and there are some fun bits, like the main pool set, which just looks great & is unlike any modern pool you're likely to see. There's also a good amount of gore. Ultimately, however, it's mostly boring. There's a whole lot of narration, which for me undercut the visuals b/c it encouraged me to play even less attention. Follow That Skirt: For such a short "movie" it's surprising how much this drags. The soundtrack is alright, and there's a very attractive women who gets naked, but other than that it's just another man killing young women, with transphobia added in. The Undertaker and His Pals: There's something I find genuinely unnerving about certain horror scenes on physical film that's aged into discoloration and plenty of artifacts. The many times over the years I've seen the trailer for this movie definitely built it up a bit in my mind, and for the first few minutes it actually managed to live up to some of that disquieting eeriness I had imagined. After that, however, the movie makes it abundantly clear that they're going for a deliberately comedic tone, and at times I really enjoyed it. The first victim is a woman with a picture of a sailor, presumably her boyfriend. After she's killed there's a cut back to the picture, which now shows the sailor with a look of horrified shock. Later on there are multiple puns around cannibalism of people with funny names. Overall it's _fine_. It ends on a good note, and it was definitely nice to have it be the last feature on Blood-A-Rama Triple Frightmare II, which was otherwise very tedious. Extras: The commentary track (foot The Undertaker and His Pals) features Patton Oswalt and is quite enjoyable. The Love Goddesses. . . outtakes are quite short and don't feature dialogue. The gallery is fine. Book: Three essays that are each quite in-depth, although padded out by thorough descriptions of the movie plots. Pretty neat to get a mailable postcard, though! Packaging: Overall good, although the slip doesn't pair well with the slip for the first Blood-A-Rama Triple Frightmare, which is a bit of a shame."

"3 something weird video movies Again, AGFA did a good job on this one !"

Patrick Q. (5/5)

Grindhouse madness

"I bought this set because I really love The Undertake and his Pals, but Love Godesses was a banger too and the transfer looks beautiful. Follow That Skirt is the weaker entry of the set but overall very enjoyable triple feature. Higly recommended!"

Ariel O. (5/5)

Fascinating trio

"What a great blu ray - three really obscure exploitation curios brilliantly restored by AGFA and Something Weird. LOVE GODDESSES OF BLOOD ISLAND does get a bit repetitive with the relentless dancing but it’s still a compelling watch. FOLLOW THAT SKIRT - wow, has to be seen to be believed. And my fave I think, THE UNDERTAKER AND HIS PALS - a riot of bad taste, gore and black humour all packed into one hour. A fine disc that’s obviously a labour of love."
