"There is a good plot here that just doesn’t ever happen. It is so close to being good but is held back by mediocre acting, poor writing, random tone and color shifts. I’d imagine with a higher budget if they could capture the magic of the last act, this would be a great film. The cover is super cool though!"

Damn this was a surprisingly

"Damn this was a surprisingly creepy little flick that can kind of play as a companion piece to Nightmare On Elm Street with it's emphasis on dreams and trauma. The sound is super important for this flick so it's great how much it booms on the Blu Ray. So many special features too, and the audio commentary was very informative. Great buy."

Something Upsetting About Sleep

"I actually watched most of this one. I can't remember if I got the slipcover edition or not and I'm too tired to go to the next room to check and I don't want to lose my train of thought. I don't want to deprive you, dear reader, of this well considered review. I can't remember what the film was about but I usually remember if I hated something and I didn't hate this. I missed it at the Cinema but I prefer watching EPKs at home in my underwear while intoxicated anyway. I also can't remember is an EPK was included in the features. Getting old is weird."

Fabulous Slipcover & Great Movie!

"This is one of my favorite all-time VS slipcovers! It just mesmerized me! I knew of course, the movie would also be great, as they always are! This is what drove the selection of this particular film! It features some really cool, and different type of horror than much of the standard fare these days. It kept my interest throughout, and I really enjoyed it! The peerless VS restoration process was on full display with stellar sound and picture!
