Love Crime

A very descent crime drama.

It takes decades of craftsmanship for a director to hone what would be another Netflix/Lifetime thriller filler into something so wholly entertaining and engrossing. This may be the best example I can turn to now when thinking about the golden rule of every scene in a film must move the story forward. There is absolutely no fat here, no scene wasted, no second burned. It runs through its beats at a consistent pace, aided by the fantastic performances, and never once browbeats you, allowing you to come to the story's conclusions naturally. For what could have been an exercise in stuffiness or pretension, this moves like lightning.

I have to say this blind buy was a pleasant surprise for me. The slipcover always caught my eye and the description sounded good so I took a chance and picked this one up during a recent sale and let me tell you that this was a great film. Picture quality was excellent, packaging was awesome and the story itself was captivating with a ending that delivered. Highly recommend grabbing it while its still available.
