Despite some low quality SOV images and sound quality and some questionable acting, this film won me over early with its hilarious script, pure audacity and extreme camp factor. I did a deep dive after the film and want to read all of this filmmaker's books, which were apparently his true calling. Clearly inspired by John Waters in some regards and clearly influencing, in turn, Gregg Araki... Razor sharp pitch black dialogue, heteroflexible three ways, deliciously over the top antagonists and anti-heroes. The OC as LA fringe devoid of cultural depth but also a celebration of human scum. This film is a missing puzzle piece leading up to the Queer New Wave. Inspired to give more attention to other SOV films of the era. Bummed I missed the limited edition. Alas.

Great presentation of a little known thriller from BS! Totally love the punk rock vibes, really captures the underground spirit of this generation.

BLONDE DEATH has gained a reputation as a cult SOV movie, and now I know that's for reason. The gutter dialogue is something else and I laughed a lot. Think of early John Waters on steroids - pure punk.
The picture quality is suprisingly solid, compared to the screenshots. Thankfully Bleeding Skull included subtitles.
I enjoyed the special features, especially the archival tour of the EZTV premises, the local outfit that produced BLONDE DEATH. There is also a very interesting new with one of the producers and one with the main actress.
