Ben is mourning the recent death of his sister, Karen, whom he believes to have been killed in a savage wolf attack. At her funeral, Ben is approached by the mysterious Stefan, who warns him that a cult of werewolves had attacked Karen and that she too will become an undead lycanthrope. Although dismissing his claim as mere superstition, Ben’s girlfriend Jenny convinces him that he should take Stefan’s warning more seriously, and, sure enough, Karen is soon back from the dead, covered in fur and complete with a deadly set of K9s. After being narrowly saved from a fatal bite by Stefan, Ben is persuaded that he’s telling the truth and volunteers to join him on his mission to destroy the increasing hoards of beastly creatures ravaging Europe. But as their journey takes them to Transylvania, where werewolves from around the world are gathering for their ritual, Ben and Stefan fear that they might be in over their heads, mainly once werewolf queen Stirba receives news of their arrival...

"and wacky in the world of werewolves. Yes! I'm not usually into movies that are so bad they are good but this one definitely could qualify for that description. There is some really odd campy out there stuff going on like that hissing snarling touch-less menage-a-trios of partially turned werewolves. I mean, how do they stop the transformation mid stream so they can roll around naked and hairy but not fully become animal monsters having sex? Who knows, I'm just glad they did. While this movie is weird, and not near the 'serious' original, it does also have a full spectrum of 'quality' filmmaking aspects as well. The Eastern European locations and atmosphere, the cinematography (especially the night scenes), the score and 80's vibe all greatly enhance what i found to be a thoroughly enjoyable experience. And then there is Christopher Lee earnestly classing up the joint whenever he's on screen. I really, surprisingly, dug this movie and had a blast. Like the writer in the accompanying booklet said, a move doesn't have to be good to be awesome."
"Great transfer to 4k. Good packaging artwork, good extras too. It is a cult classic now. It is still good for a few friends round and rip it to shreads. Very nice location shots. Christopher Lee does steal the show. I just love his voice only equaled by Vincent Price."
"Superb transfer of a werewolf classic. Hoping for more howling installments. very nice booklet as well!"
"A Christopher Lee titledrop, and maybe the best credits sequence in movie history"
"One of the best bad movies. You’ve got Christopher Lee in tiny new wave sunglasses infiltrating a punk club and Mickey from Pee Wees Big Adventure in a werewolf orgy. Shit rocks"
"Amazing restoration with some top notch extras, especially the commentaries and featurette with the director. Such a quality release for a sequel that should get way more love!"
"What a pleasure it was to see this movie again! I used to watch it over and over again as a kid for two big reasons! Bonus features are beautiful. That movie looks great in HD and those two big reasons look awesome in HD as well."
"This is a fun ride, MrLee earning every dime and cheese galore thanks to Cheese Slam-Fist himself Reb Brown. This is just to fun!"
"I really enjoyed this movie. It was a lot of fun. The movie was fun and scary and I highly recommend. ."
