Gaspar does it again

"Another excellent film from Gaspar Noe. Love the reversible cover and the booklet with an essay by Alexandra Heller-Nicholas"

Chris L. (5/5)

Gaspar at hisfinest!

"I quite liked this film. Dario Argento playing a character was really cool to see. . It was almost like a different version of Amour by Michael Haneke. I only gave it four stars, because mine didn't come in the siq slipcase that was advertised in the picture. Overall a good movie, & a good release by Utopia."

Zadeh G. (4/5)

Noe's Emotional Masterpiece

"Amazing performances in this visually striking and heartbreaking drama from director Gaspar Noe. Noe's take on Amour, this release looks fantastic and has some great extras too."

Tony H. (5/5)

Heavy

"Very heavy - Noe at his finest."

Frank M. (5/5)

Fun for the whole family

"Bring Grandma and Grandpa"

Gaspar

"provocateur Gaspar Noé's devastating portrait of aging and dementia Anchored by powerful, heartbreaking performances from Françoise Lebrun and horror icon Dario Argento."

Kevin G. (5/5)

Masterpiece

"‘Vortex’ is a grounded film which serves as a divergence of Gaspar Noe’s typical work which tend to be more surreal and even psychedelic. Retaining the all too real harshness of reality popular in his work, this film focuses on the reality of aging, mental deterioration, and its impact on their loved ones. A heavy, yet bold in its cinematography and framing which adds to the emotional impact of the storytelling. While I don’t see this attaining the same level of popularity as his previous films like ‘Climax’ or ‘Enter The Void’, the artistry is undeniable; all of which makes this a worthwhile film to add to any film collectors collection."

Ismael F. (5/5)

A Noe meditation

"I enjoy Noe's provocations. It is clear why this one is his critical win, but fir me, it was one of his most difficult to watch. Perhaps that is necessary as my grandparents pass and my parents age."

Oleh S. (4/5)

An important movie by Noé

"Thought-provoking movie with difficult subject matter and spiritual depth. Noé's style is more subdued than usual, but it fits the mood. At least as effective as Haneke's Amour."

Fabrice B. (5/5)

Great release

"Noe is one of my friend's favorite filmmakers and so this made a perfect Christmas gift. I look forward to hearing his thoughts on the film!"
