Turkish but not turkey!
"Very funny movie. Some of the fight scenes are absolutely insane. I love it when the guys get splattered against the castle wall like flies!"

The Sword and the Claw, a limited edition Turkish action-fantasy film, offers excellent packaging and presentation, a fun viewing experience, and notable features. AGFA's release is highly recommended, though opinions on the movie itself vary.

"This is the type of bad movie I dearly love, for real. And we don't just one movie right here, we have two. The Sword and the Claw is the highlight, but the korean martial arts flick, The Brawl Busters, is also awesome as hell. Get this one!!"
"While perusing my favorite website, I noticed this really awesome slipcover, which drew me in, as is often the case with the slipcover kings, VS!"
"Totally bonkers, but entertainingly so, Ideal for the osmanic cinephile."
"Fantastic flick, as ive been digging deeper into turkish cinema this scratches an itch, seeing the lead across other movies gives me such a scale. The plot is so so, the action is good good. Love the bonus movie too!"
"I enjoyed this classic fantasy flick. AGFA continues to bring the good stuff."
"soundtrack juiced on this one!"
"Basically Turkish Sangkuriang. A fun medieval adventure seemingly set in an alternate reality where the Turks are plucky rebels against the Byzantines. The fight choreography and stunts in this are very well done. The bit battle at the end is a delight. The music is so out of place it swings around to being endearing. Loved how brutal some of the kill are: the titular Lion Man is shredding faces all over the place"
"Great"
"He’s the son of Solomon and was raised by lions. The film transfer is as sharp as lion man’s claws. The badly dubbed English, reuse of some fight scenes with surprisingly well choreography and bloody violence adds to the charm of this Turkish B-movie Definitely would recommend The Sword and the claw."
