Ever since he was a child, Kevin Dornwinkle wanted nothing more than the ability to spy on naked women. Traumatized for life when his prudish mother discovers his bedroom telescope pointed at the window of a nude and nubile neighbor, Kevin puts all his focus onto his other interest: science. Decades later, and now a respected physicist, Dr. Dornwinkle has made his greatest discovery yet: "molecular reorganization serum," which has the power to turn a person invisible. But after a demonstration to his peers fails horribly, the mild mannered doctor suffers a breakdown. Focusing all his efforts on perfecting his serum, and succeeding, the now fully unhinged Dornwinkle gets a job as a high school teacher and embarks on a rampage of molestation and murder...
From the mind of acclaimed cult filmmaker Adam "Rif Coogan" Rifkin (Detroit Rock City, Psycho Cop Returns), comes THE INVISIBLE MANIAC! As lurid, sleazy, funny, weird, bloody, sexy, and original as any exploitation film can be, THE INVISIBLE MANIAC stars Savannah (New Wave Hookers 2), Stephanie Blake (Ferris Bueller's Day Off), Melissa Moore (Samurai Cop), Clement von Franckenstein (Fantasm), and Noel Peters as the perverted Dr. Dornwinkle. Never legally released on disc, Vinegar Syndrome is delighted to offer THE INVISIBLE MANIAC on UHD and Blu-ray for the first time, fully restored in 4K from its 35mm camera negative and featuring a bodacious selection of extras, including cast and crew interviews and deleted scenes!

A guilty pleasure and a bygone era of cinema!
"The Invisible Maniac is definitely a guilty pleasure of mine! It represents a bygone era of cinema, the kind they sadly don't make anymore. Our friends at Vinegar Syndrome have released a fantastic edition of the film with the best possible picture quality. Who would have thought The Invisible Maniac would ever have a 4K release? What a great time for film buffs. Thank you, Vinegar Syndrome!!!"

Unhinged Noel Peters AND boobs??? Yes please.
"Synopsis: Renowned scientist and pervert Dr. Kevin Dornwinkle has just failed at creating an invisibility serum at a large conference with fellow colleagues. Enraged he goes on a murderous rampage and is remanded to the State Institute for the Criminally Insane. A few years later he escapes and heads to a summer school to teach Physics to a bunch of horny teenage thirty year olds under an alias. After he discovers the appropriate enzymes he needs he becomes invisible becoming overwhelmed with sexual fantasies and rage so he heads straight to the women's locker room. After some harmless pranks by his students and the babe principal of the school hitting on him his anger takes control and he becomes The INVISIBLE MANIAC. Review: Extremely low budget but it boasts a wonderfully unhinged performance from Noel Peters and a plethora boobies from some of the early 90's finest. My main complaint is that he doesn't get invisible maniacing soon enough in the movie. The first couple of deaths are pretty creative but they didn't take advantage of the invisibleness enough in my opinion. Carnage Count 2/5 Sleaze Score 4/5"

Goofy Movie With T&A
"This movie knows exactly what it is. It is a T&A Invisible Man. The restoration looks great. The only thing I was disappointed in were the kills. I expected them to be a lot better. It's worth a look."

I Really Love This Movie!
"This is a very fun movie to watch! Yes, it is quite campy, but that only adds to its charm! The peerless VS restoration transfer process was on full display, and it looks and sounds amazing! Thank you, VS, for continuing to lovingly restore and release so many wonderful films from every conceivable genre! You are keeping physical media alive in this streaming world we now live in! Highly recommended!"

A Cult Oddity Resurrected in 4K
"Vinegar Syndrome has given The Invincible Maniac far more respect than anyone could have expected, and the results are impressive. This ultra-low-budget, shot-on-video slasher has never looked better, with the 4K presentation offering a remarkably clean and stable image that preserves the film’s gritty, homemade charm while improving clarity and color consistency. Sound quality is solid for the format, presenting the film cleanly without compromising its raw, DIY aesthetic. The extensive special features provide great insight into the film’s chaotic production and cult legacy, making this release as informative as it is entertaining. As always, Vinegar Syndrome proves why they’re unmatched when it comes to rescuing and celebrating forgotten cult oddities. This 4K release turns a notorious regional slasher into a must-see curiosity for genre fans and collectors alike."

The Invisible Maniac
"This movie is pure 80s slasher fun. Has everything you would expect a B movie to have! Looks great in 4 k and the bonus features were awesome!"

They don't make B-movie comedies like they used to.
"This is a wonderful movie. Great presentation and special features. But most importantly funny in that cheesy B-movie way you just don't see anymore; the overacting is cranked all the way to 11 in this one, as is the gratuitous nudity. Definitely a product of it's time in all the best ways. As usual i have included pictures of the reverse sleeve artwork, for those who like myself are curious about such things."
