This is such an amazing

"This is such an amazing trashy Spanish flick that I had to buy a second copy for the slipcover when a handful were made available. Eurotrash doesn’t get much cheesier or crazier than this!"

Demon-Baby Melting and Toad Stabbing!

"Secta Siniestra is a most unfortunate and bastardized combination of The Exorcist, The Omen, and Rosemary’s Baby which possesses both the sleaziest Spanish flare and the micro-est of budgets possible. Although this film attempted to capitalize on the success of these great classic horror films to the point of blatant plagiarism, it has absolutely none of the talent and skill required to pull off even a mildly entertaining experience short of a few memorable moments of unintentional humor and facepalmingly disappointing practical effects. While one should view this cinematic abomination purely in terms of exploitation filmmaking, it has none of the heart and soul typically found in these hardcore genre flicks and, instead, Secta Siniestra comes off as a despicable ineffective ripoff with very little redeemable merit. Prepare yourself for some hilariously poorly executed kill set-pieces and gore effects. The “final horrifying reveal”, in fact, is so bad that I find it impossible to believe that one could react to it in any other way than hysterical laughter brought on by a combination of bewilderment and disappointment. I viewed this atrocious exercise in baby-melting and toad-stabbing madness on the Secta Siniestra Vinegar Syndrome Blu-ray physical media release and it is the same great standard that you’ve come to expect from the generic line of this boutique label. This is a questionable oddity that I cannot bring myself to, or not to, recommend. You’re on your own with this one… great slipcover, though! PURE VS

"This is about as typical of an awesome VS release as you'll see. Something that I had never heard of that I didn't realize that was missing from my life. This movie is pretty crazy and I highly recommend it."
