Even Punks need so R&R

"Synopsis: A group of punks, led by babe Ramrod, are on vacation in a small town when the coke machine steals $0. 40 from one of their members. They are none-too-pleased about not only this obvious thievery but also the shopkeeps reaction to their request for a refund. While hassling the store owner the punk who lost his money kills him and gets injured in the process. Lisa, the daughter of the recently deceased, wants revenge and asks for the help of her deputy boyfriend. He wants to do things by the books but his hand is forced when Lisa gets abducted and soon it is Punks vs Law & Townsfolk in an all out battle. Review: The Sheriff is unhinged and I was loving every single word that came out of his mouth but this feels like a missed opportunity and should have either gone whole ham or played it way more straight edge. I think I would have preferred less silliness (minus the Sheriff of course) and more of a straight forward Punks VS Normies tale. Carnage Count 2/5 Sleaze Score 1/5"

CLASSIC VINEGAR SYNDROME!

"Essential purchase for all hardcore collectors. I viewed this film on the Punk Vacation Vinegar Syndrome Blu-ray Limited Edition physical media release and it is the same great premium level of packaging and presentation that you’ve come to expect from the generic releases of this boutique label. No other brand beats Vinegar Syndrome at the cardboard game and this great slipcover is no exception to the consistently fantastic artwork and component quality this company produces. Classic VS release

"Unique biker film that includes an even better film entitled “Nomad Riders”. I’d recommend this classic VS release."

Punk rock

"I'll buy anything from the eighties about punks. It was great"

Bonus feature movie possibly better than main film!

"Kind of fun, but it doesn’t ever really go anywhere. The lead does not have great screen presence whatsoever. It also needed some editing. A lot of the run time are the characters tramping around fire roads in Tehachapi. They could have had a much better 80-minute film instead of a bit of a slog at 93 minutes. The blu-ray restoration looks great though. I also got a kick out of the extra movie in the bonus features, maybe even moreso than the main film."

"We got confirmation of punk activity over here!"

""Punk Vacation" is a typical biker-gang vs. small-town revenge flick, except the gang is populated by knock-offs of Siouxsie Sioux, Adam Ant, Joe Strummer, and other early-80s punk stereotypes. It's entertaining enough, but the costume and makeup departments set a bar the rest of the movie can't begin to reach. Included as a DVD-only bonus is "Nomad Riders," an even cheaper cops-and-bikers picture featuring Neil Breen doppelganger Tony Laschi as the improbably named "Steve Thrust," a weirdo disco/synthpop soundtrack, endless gunfire and explosions, and a unexpectedly sympathetic turn by an outlaw biker named "Grenades. ""

Fun little 90's film

"I hadn't seen this one but I took a shot at it and I enjoyed it. Im surprised I never saw it over tge years. Im glad I got it while there were still some copies left. Wish I had got it before the slipcover sold out though."

Endless Punk Vacation

"Fantastic transfer. I'll watch anything with the title "punk" in it. This is a fun movie, with good action."
