"Had a good time watching this. Great cast and the humor wasn’t overbearing. As a fellow “artist” I can really connect with the sense of being an imposter. RZA’s performance was great."

"I enjoyed this film. I have been on artist residencies and this is rich in wit and true to life. Really well done. The performances are very well realised and the script is terrifically witty and indeed truthful in its own way. There are poignant moments and some real and frigthening insigtht into the idea of artistry. The film is smart and definitely deserving of a higher score on here. Take a punt - you won't regret it. What else can I say, not very much. This is just filler. What else can I say?, No very much This is just just just filler! What else can I say, not What else can I say, not very much. "Great"
"I've learned in recent years to run far and fast away from anything potentially reeking of that patented Williamsburgian/Portlandian brand of "quirk," yet it was goddamn hard to turn down this eclectic cast and seeing what the hell they're doing together. To its credit, I made it through without wanting to gouge out my eyes and ears so it wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it was going to be. There's some genuinely solid comedy in this, mostly in its most bitingly cynical moments, even when there's still healthy helpings of the type of "cutesy but with f-words" kind of humor that destroys everything for me anymore, along with the self-grandizing of the term "artist" and plenty of oh-so trendy therapy-culture speaking points. Despite how much those beats make me bristle, the other elements kept it enjoyable to some degree for me. Matt Walsh in particular makes it worth watching as it may be his best non-goofball acting he's done, along with great turns by Haley Joel Osment, Rosalind Chao, and The RZA of all fucking people."
"Wow, what a joy. Bought it after watching a trailer - I know why buy it when you´ve seen the trailer. Surprise the trailer wasn´t the film, a radically different type of fish. To see the RZA as the enigmatic patron of the arts. . . Great performances, beautifully shot and a fun ride."
"I am very excited to watch this. I liked the directorial debut from Alexi Pappas. The cover art is amazing for the slip. The packaging was handled with care. I am happy to add this to my collection."
"Total blind buy but the cast intrigued me. Glad I grabbed it."
"This was better than I expected from a boutique line I do not normally order from. Having an art degree myself I can appreciate the struggles of each and every artist. The slipcover art could be better."
"Pappas (A young woman) is accepted into a residency program created by the wealthy enigmatic benefactor "The Abbott" (RZA) for high-potential artists suffering from creative constipation."
"not too bad"
