Founded in 2006, Wild Eye Releasing has carved out a name as a driving force in low-budget, underground, and outsider cinema, earning a cult following among filmmakers and fans alike. Wild Eye champions horror, action, sci-fi, exploitation, arthouse, documentaries, and vintage gems from across the globe, delivering them worldwide via home video, digital and theatrical avenues. We also produce our own in-house features and mockbusters like the fan-favorites Cocaine Shark, Amityville in Space and the Ouija Shark and Jurassic Shark series, while proudly distributing VHS era classics such as Splatter Farm, Zombie Bloodbath, Bloody Muscle Body Builder in Hell and The Necro Files via our sister imprint, Visual Vengeance.

Vampire hunter Carrie Rieger is captured and imprisoned by the powerful Vampire King Pashek (Sid Haig) just as a greater threat emerges. An ancient vampire demon, Vlad Kossel—believed destroyed centuries ago—has returned to wipe out his own kind before turning his attention to humanity. With time running out, Carrie is forced to work alongside the vampires she once hunted in a dangerous alliance to stop an enemy powerful enough to destroy them all.

Featuring Sid Haig (House of 1,000 Corpses, Bone Tomahawk, Spider Baby), Ken Foree (Dawn of the Dead, From Beyond, The Devil’s Rejects) and Victoria Pratt (House of the Dead 2, Mutant X, Death Valley), Brotherhood of Blood delivers fast-paced supernatural action and modern gothic horror, and was one of the first films chosen by director Sam Raimi to launch his Ghosthouse Underground imprint at Lionsgate Films in 2008.

Reviews

Fun little movie with great cast

"I have the old DVD of this one. The Ghost House series were pretty cool with eye catching clear slipcovers. This is probably the one I remember best given the great cast. Sid Haig of course but also personal favorite Victoria Pratt. Huge fan of her on Xena and Cleopatra 2525. Low budget with limited locations and effects work, but strong script and great cast. Fun twist sets up a sequel that never was. Recommended."

A stylish late-period vampire film

"A stylish late-period vampire film whose atmosphere and cast are stronger than its uneven execution. The impressive restoration enhances the film's visual strengths, while the picture exhibits richer detail and more stable color throughout. A high-quality presentation that gives the film its best chance to be appreciated."

Walter P. (5/5)

Ken Foree is great

"Ken really goes for it in this and appears to be having fun. Video quality is pretty good. Subtitles were excellent. I didn't notice any mistakes. If you like Sid Haig and Ken Foree definitely give it a watch."

Nolan L. (5/5)

Good Movie!

"The peerless VS restoration process was on full display with stellar sound and picture! Thank you, VS, for continuing to lovingly restore and release so many wonderful films from every conceivable genre! You are keeping physical media alive in this streaming world we now live in! Highly recommended!"

Paul K. (5/5)

Brotherhood of Blood

"I always try to be lenient on B-Movies, particularly when they're horrors. It takes a lot of work to come up with a finished product, I know, so trying to push out literally anything that fills the ninety minute slot on such a low budget is an impressive feat, whether it's a decent bit of entertainment or not. Brotherhood of Blood is not fantastic, but it's all a matter of comparison. And thinking about what it had to work with, the film is actually kind of alright."

Mike H. (5/5)

Peak 2000s Horror

"Exactly the kind of mid-2000s horror movie that used to live on the back wall of every video store."

Chris T. (5/5)

Brotherhood of Blood

"Not bad, but it has Sid Haig which made it worth the purchase."

Ryan F. (3/5)

"Great vampire film"

Side Haig post devils rejects.

"Side Haig post devils rejects. Still pulling from that character vain. Overall enjoyable but will not be for everybody. Not mainstream."

Justin N. (4/5)

Cheap late 2000's horror is

"Cheap late 2000's horror is a mixed bag but Sid Haig and Ken Foree are fun."
