"This is a solid sequel, with a couple of recasted actors including Angel herself, now portrayed by Betsy Russell. The cop that helped her track down a killer in the first film has himself been murdered. Now it’s time to put the old gang back together and find justice for him. Susan Tyrell is great but I was secretly hoping that Johnny Glitter would get capped. Recommended!"
"This is the only Angel sequel worth bothering with. It's a solid, well done, mid-80s LA-based sleazy exploitation film. Angel is a bit older and played a bit differently, and interestingly, by Betsy Russell, who gives a good performance. It's still gritty but doesn't quite have the same endearing warmth or heart of the original, partially due to the different, more mature Angel portrayal. Still got a fun 80s soundtrack."
