Founded in 2006, Wild Eye Releasing has carved out a name as a driving force in low-budget, underground, and outsider cinema, earning a cult following among filmmakers and fans alike. Wild Eye champions horror, action, sci-fi, exploitation, arthouse, documentaries, and vintage gems from across the globe, delivering them worldwide via home video, digital and theatrical avenues. We also produce our own in-house features and mockbusters like the fan-favorites Cocaine Shark, Amityville in Space and the Ouija Shark and Jurassic Shark series, while proudly distributing VHS era classics such as Splatter Farm, Zombie Bloodbath, Bloody Muscle Body Builder in Hell and The Necro Files via our sister imprint, Visual Vengeance.

When her sister vanishes without a trace, Yurino follows the only clue left behind: a cryptic website linked to an abandoned apartment and a rumored destination for those seeking to end their lives. Her search leads her deep into a remote mountain village—a place that doesn’t appear on any map and doesn’t want to be found.

The village is home to a disturbing community of outsiders drawn there by despair… and to the locals who claim to “save” them. Their twisted doctrine is simple: suicide is forbidden—but death is not. Those who arrive hoping to die are instead hunted, butchered, and sacrificed in acts of violence so grotesque they defy belief.

Reunited at last, Yurino and her sister must confront the horrifying truth behind the village’s crusade and fight their way through an escalating nightmare of sadistic killers and inhuman rituals.

Directed by Jun'ichi Yamamoto, the film showcases the vision of a cult filmmaker working on the outer edges of Japanese horror. Known for a run of underground exploitation features, Yamamoto blends taboo subject matter, surreal imagery, and extreme violence into confrontational genre cinema that rejects conventions - securing his status as a bold, divisive voice in modern J-horror.

Reviews

Holy banana.

"There's some pretty wonky subtitles in this one. Takes me back to the old days of foreign releases. Poor grammar, truly oddball sentences, and even some misspelled profanity make for an even more surreal experience. Odd premise with the suicide club turns more standard with the ghosts seeking revenge with a main character twist. Obviously very low budget but pretty fun anyway. Several extras featuring a guy who is almost certainly more excited about J-Horror than you."

"Modern films are extremely hit or miss for me but somehow low budget always has a soft spot for me. I can always find something enjoyable in them. Pick this up just for the no budget charm!"

"So cheesy and weird and super violent. I remember seeing this on Tubi years back and the subtitles were terrible but I enjoyed the movie regardless. Wild Eyes disc is a blessing. I love this type of low budget Japanese cinema. Happy it's finally on Blu Ray."

Bryan K. (5/5)

Intense

"Violator is grim, uncomfortable, and intentionally rough around the edges, the kind of Japanese underground film that feels more like a dare than a normal viewing experience. It is not exactly pleasant, but its ugly intensity and raw atmosphere make it hard to dismiss if you are into darker, more confrontational cult cinema."

"A welcome release for an overlooked independent horror film that values atmosphere over easy shocks. Its troubled characters give the supernatural story an emotional anchor, making the terror feel more personal than expected. Worth the wait, whatever the shipping delays, for fans of intimate, character-driven horror."

"I really enjoyed this level of violation. The good nudes is that nobody actually reads these reviews."

Really cool movie

"A hot chick is trying to find her Sister that joined a mass suicide chat group. Lots of bad things happen. It gets really nutty! I loved it. The packaging is really cool."

Nolan L. (5/5)

A fun Japanese splatter flick

"The movie is a lot of fun. The subtitles do contain some grammatical errors and typo's tough."
