This listing is for the standard edition Blu-ray. The limited edition slipcover (designed by Earl Kessler Jr.) was limited to 1,000 units and is sold out. The two versions are identical, aside from the slipcover.

VHSHITFEST has been uncovering and releasing movies on video for over a decade, across DVD and VHS, and is now moving into blu-ray, with the same goal to showcase the most unique, crazy, and obscure movies that they've discovered through years of collecting VHS, allowing even more people to actually be able to experience these nearly lost gems in the best versions possible.

Ted Partridge is a mass murdering serial killer going around killing unsuspecting woman — brutally torturing them beyond imagination. It is up to Detective William Lindsay and Psychologist Richard Stroud to try to stop this killer before more innocent people meet their maker.

Based upon the true story of Philadelphia serial killer Gary Heidnik, Blind Faith is an unsung late 80s regional slasher/thriller hybrid that uniquely unravels to one of the most jaw dropping final moments. VHSHITFEST is so happy to bring this movie to disc for the first time along with hours and hours of extras that showcase the forty year career of director Dean Wilson.

                Blind faith

"Blind Faith is a gripping and emotional drama that tackles themes of race, justice, and family with powerful performances and a strong script. The chemistry between the leads adds depth to a story that’s both personal and politically resonant. It’s a compelling and thoughtful film that lingers long after the credits roll."

                Jeffrey W. (5/5)

                Solid release of meh SOV

"A bit talky for my tastes, this is nonetheless another carefully curated release of a true SOV obscurity. Worth a look for seasoned trash collectors."

                Charles W. (2/5)

                We can do better

                "Ehhh, probably worth skipping"

                Travis O. (2/5)

                Give this one a watch

"This release is packed with extras and comes housed in a slipcover that features a strong design in its artwork."

                Mark H. (5/5)

amped up police procedural with a Heidnik flavor

"BLIND FAITH has every opportunity to be boring or fall short of expectations, but I think it knows what it's up to & delivers. The Gary Heidnik story is a weird one, for sure, & I'm always ready for an adaptation. The structure here, mostly police interviews with snippets to back up the stories, works really well, allowing the end to feel bigger than it is. This release includes what I love from SOV/SD releases: making use of the disc space with several other movies! Happy to own this one."

                Isaac W. (4/5)

                Great cover

"Buy this blind it’s great you need it"

                S. O. V. Police Procedural

"Told in flashbacks, interrogation scenes can get draggy. Has its moments when flashbacks kick in. Better acted than alot of low budget s. o. v. Picture and audio is about what you'd expect, VHS quality. Extras are solid with bonus movies, interviews and commentary. Was a decent watch and the crazy ending gives it a little replay value."

                Chad J. (2/5)

SOV horror with fun kills and effects

"Fun shot on video horror release with some decent kills and special effects. Very similar storyline to procedurals like criminal minds. Great audio and video quality of the flick especially considering the source material. Comes with a handful of extra features including a number of short films. Cool artwork on disc and packaging."

                Kresh R. (3/5)

                Blind Patience.

"Overall, for a SOV title, this is one of the more well made movies. Not perfect, by any means, but competency for the technical aspects of filmmaking is commendable. The story and the writing is where the movie fumbles. There are many small moments where the movie feels like it's picking up momentum, like the murder scenes. Yet, it still turns into a slog and makes watching a chore."

                Preston C. (1/5)

                Dialogue and the scenes played

"Dialogue and the scenes played out like a soap opera. Movie was okay."
