"When you delve into the history of Australian cinema, there’s so much to explore that really doesn’t have the recognition it deserves. Steve Jodrll’s overlooked thriller ‘Shame’ taps into that environment that works so well in Australian films, the tense, small town culture where hostility pours out of every alleyway. The film is pretty uncompromising and still feels unsettling to this day. The release by the always great Unbrella, isn’t the most lavish but contains interviews, archive material and context to the film that helps shine a light on a film that’s defiantly worth discovering."

Mrs. Furness' claws show, was she trained by Wolverine

"New interview on extras where Beverly Blankenship randomly recalled shooting was so cold they had to have nipple covers for the ladies that failed, no shame in that. This crew conversation was alot of fun to watch. They had a unified vision backed by life experience and this comes through in how realistic and solid the movie is. Never knew the Deborah Lee and Hugh Jackman connection before watching her interview on the extras. Phenomenal actress!"

It's about what is right and wrong, and the pursuit of justice that so many women must face in their lives. The film is from 1988, remains topical to this day, and sadly, always will be. Watch this, for it is devastating"
