Really Cool Slipcover & Movie!

"The unique slipcover was the first thing that led me to order this really cool thriller! It was an engaging watch throughout! The peerless VS restoration process was on full display with stellar sound and picture! Thank you, VS, for continuing to lovingly restore and release so many wonderful films from every conceivable genre! You are keeping physical media alive in this streaming world we now live in! Highly recommended!"

Anxiety

"Anxiety builds from the get-go, we can't rely on the narrator because she can't rely on herself. We can't rely on visual clues because a judicious and effective use of the camera casts a pall of suspicion on every image. We get a sense of what Molly perceives, and the way she perceives it - the slide to delusion seems closer. It's a burner."

A new angle on gaslighting

"When a woman in recovery from a traumatic loss and subsequent mental breakdown begins hearing strange sounds in one of the apartments above, we think we know where this is going. Happily enough, Knocking makes interesting and unusual use of the unreliable narrator trope. Yellow Veil gives us a reliably loving Blu-ray package, from the excellent transfer to the essay/booklet and extras."

Shawn P. (4/5)

There ARE worse places to get a passport in?!

"The camera work here infuses us with paranoia and wrenching stress. Lead is so good, really felt the grief and distress they were enduring every step of the way. The movie intro you can choose whether to play or not offered some cool insights you should check out."

Derek T. (4/5)

An Interesting Film With A Simple Premise

"My wife and I found Knocking to be interesting and entertaining, considering that the overall concept is quite simple. The story was good."

Richard W. (3/5)

Suspensful, ambitious and emotional

"This was a blind buy from me but I'm so glad it came out to be a quite good surprise for a "low budget" film, even though there are some pretty ambitious shots and effects throughout the movie that put in evidence that the production and photography team are not amateur at all. Knocking is a solid film that explores mental illness, social anxiety, depression, loss, and other themes that add value to the suspenseful plot. Definitely a must watch for all who enjoy thriller and psychological terror as well."

Juan F. (5/5)

This Is A Real Nailbiter!

"This slipcover on this awesome thriller is really super cool! This film has a very tense, and somewhat claustrophobic atmosphere that will keep you on the edge of your seat from beginning to end! The sound and picture are really awesome, and I highly recommend this one!"
