It all started as a simple game of softball... When a women's softball team win a game against a group of rough talking and dirty playing men, they find themselves unwittingly involved in a new competition with much higher stakes: life and death. After being horribly attacked and assaulted by their male competitors, the women are forced to use both their wits and strength to escape their tormentors and avenge their teammates, but quickly find themselves trapped in a deadly cat and mouse chase through a nearby forest, where violence lurks behind every tree...

A shockingly violent revenge thriller that, despite its early 90s release date, is as unflinching in its brutality as the roughest exploitation films of the 1970s, Isreali director Tanya Rosenberg's BLOOD GAMES is a tense and action packed exploitation gem. Starring prolific stunt woman Laura Albert, alongside Ken Carpenter (Tammy and the T-Rex), Ross Hagen (Wonder Women), Gregory Scott Cummins (Hack-O-Lantern), and cult character actor George 'Buck' Flower (Berserker), Vinegar Syndrome proudly presents the long overdue disc debut of BLOOD GAMES, in a brand new 2K restoration.

Play balls.

"Synopsis: The all-girl baseball team of Babe and the Ballgirls travels from town to town challenging men to a friendly match while wearing the skimpiest of outfits. It sounds like they usually win and their most recent game is no exception. Babe's father and coach of the team Midnight is so confident he bets they'll win every game (just like Pete Rose). After war vet and town big-wig, Mr. Collins welches on the bet Midnight uses a gun and toilet swirlie to get what he's owed. While he's doing that two of the girls head out looking for him and almost get raped by Mr. Collins' son Roy and one of his friends. During the team's escape, the girls accidentally kill Roy which results in a bounty getting placed on their heads that the residents of this small town are eager to collect. Review: There are some very tough scenes to get through but with the number of girls on the team and a large number of redneck locals to get killed there is literally never a dull moment. Yet they still shot every action sequence in excruciatingly slow slow motion. The girls are as tough as they are hot and it sure does become rewarding to watch the bad guys get theirs. Carnage Count 3/5 Sleaze Score 4/5"

Exploitation Gold With a Killer Swing

"Pure VHS-era adrenaline—Blood Games smashes expectations with a revenge plot soaked in sleaze, sweat, and slow-mo baseball vengeance. The restoration is surprisingly sharp, and the packaging absolutely kills. An essential slice of pulp justice for exploitation fans!"

"This movie rocks and Vinegar Syndrome does it justice. It's very much in the same vein as a more recent VS release, They Call Me Macho Woman. Revenge is well-deserved when it comes!"
