Reviews

Slow Moving But Worthwhile

"Slow moving meditation that looks great and is achingly acted."

Nick C. (5/5)

Really got under my skin

"Little butterfly effect, spooky ghosts longing for peace, little sci-fi , great leading actor. Lingers in the mind long after the credits roll."

John B. (4/5)

There and back again

"Contemplative but not meandering, this is a tale of a man who lives a haunted life. Despite the otherworldly conceit, this is not what one would truly consider a horror film (and despite the time travel element, it isn’t science fiction). The true haunting is that of consequence and regret, and the walk is a search for true tranquility along the road not taken."

Alan H. (5/5)

the long walk

"not for me painfully slow"

Luther T. (1/5)

Long walk

"7/10"

Dylan D. (4/5)

Suspense

"Beautiful transfer, and enjoyable story, unpredictable"

Kamal H. (5/5)

Artful genre blend

"A blind buy for me but I’m glad I discovered it. A good artsy slow burn genre blender."

Anthony F. (4/5)

Excellent

"Great film. Grabbed it for a great price during a sale and don't regret it at all."

Chris S. (5/5)

Wild and twisty

"An excellent spin on time travel you haven't quite seen before."

Kyle G. (5/5)

Laos time travelling murder mystery

"A young poor boy finds a dying woman and keeps seeing her ghost but does nothing to help her, only helps himself, which leads to destruction. I love the part where the farmer, who needs a tractor, gets solar panels and have no use of them. Great comment on the well meaning westerners for whom it's more important to help than to listen to what kind of help is needed. It is very well directed, acted and produced. Oh, and there is time travel. Amongst all the questionable titles from the partner labels, this stands out. Buy it!"
