Nora Mae Edwards had always dreamed that a handsome and wealthy man would offer to marry her, but she never expected to find love while working the night shift at a sleazy diner. However, when John Henry Cox proposes to her within moments of their meeting, Nora can't help but say yes. Whisked off to John's home town of Newbury to live in his family's mansion, Nora discovers that her new husband's profession is that of an undertaker, and that the local death toll is disproportionately high. As the joys of marital bliss soon give way to increasingly violent nightmares, she begins to suspect that her seemingly gentle husband may be harboring a dark secret, especially when she learns that she's far from the first 'Mrs. Cox,' but even more terrifyingly, that while her husband desires her body, he'd prefer it cold and dead...

Written and directed by Straw Weisman (FIGHT FOR YOUR LIFE), and the final producing effort from exploitation film tsar, Lew Mishkin, Vinegar Syndrome brings this direct-to-video rarity to Blu-ray, newly restored from its camera negative and fully uncut.

"Fun movie. Unfortunately missed out on the slipcover."
"This movie is wacky fun. Don’t go in expecting straight horror. It’s more of a horror comedy. As soon as you have it figured out there’s another twist. I loved it. Really fun. Movie look great. Absolutely fantastic"
"Really fun slasher horror from 1989. Galindo directs another gem! 4/5 stars!"
"Fun horror flick that looks great. Underrated in almost every way. Pick it up!"
"Amazing that Vinegar Syndrome put out two films called Grave Robbers and they both rip."
"Some people just can't find love, but others dig a little deeper and bring back the kind of love that won't give "no" for an answer. This movie gives "cold shoulder" a new meaning entirely, but don't let me spoil everything in the black comedy for you. Is it amazing? No. Is it a made for TV gonzo black comedy horror film starring the beautiful Elizabeth Mannino with some boobs and corpses tossed in to entertain? Sure is! If you don't know Elizabeth, well, then you've never seen this film with only two credits to her name, but whatever. . . check it out. It's a fun watch for date night, I swear!"
"Fun horror. Not everyone. . love it or hate it. . i love it (kinda)"
"Crazy movie, some real sleaze."
"A cool regional horror!"
