Two sleaze packed horror films from the queen of exploitation cinema, Roberta Findlay!

PRIME EVIL:
Nestled in a Manhattan monastery, evil is lurking. A group of devil worshipping monks are stalking the city, looking for victims to sacrifice to the dark lord in the hope of bringing satanic rule to the world! A stylishly photographed neo-gothic horror, PRIME EVIL packs in gore, nudity, and loads of 80s NYC locales.

LURKERS:
When Cathy was a girl, she saw her deranged mother murder her father and only narrowly escaped with her life. Haunted by memories of her macabre childhood, her nightmares turn into a terrifying reality when she's lured back to her childhood home, only to be transformed into a 'lurker;' members of the vengeful dead who seek to terrorize those who wronged them. Findlay's suspenseful ghost story explores trauma and grief between moments of shocking violence.

Both films are making their Blu-ray debuts from Vinegar Syndrome, newly restored in 2k from their 35mm original camera negatives!

Classic Cult Cheese With a Bonus Bomb

"Prime Evil isn't great, by any means, but it's a fun literal cult film filled with nudity, weird orgies, and nonsense that is far from perfect yet perfectly cheesy enough to entertain. Lurkers may not be the best add-on title, but as a bonus feature it's an alright watch as long as you picked this one up for Prime Evil. Oracle and Blood sisters were better Roberta Findlay films, in my opinion, but for a completionist of her horror films, this was a required purchase."

Two Roberta Findlay Joints

"Two Roberta Findlay horrors that certainly have their own vibe although it’d be disingenuous to proclaim them as some lost classics. Modest recommendation."

Dillon G. (3/5)

Roberta Findlay Double Feature!

"So stoked I got to pick up this Findlay double feature. A Woman's Torment is a classic, and it's great to have more horror from her in my collection."

Thomasin G. (5/5)

Evil Lurkers

"Pretty much what you'd expect from Roberta Findlay - these two efforts are directed in pedestrian fashion and there's nothing all that interesting about either film. They both plod along and make very little sense. If you like cinematic trash then you might get something out of them, but they certainly aren't 'so bad they're good'."

Lurkers is the Gem

"I felt Prime Evil was okay, a bit slow even for a 90min runtime, but has it's moment. Lurkers though was much better! Still had some lull moments, but great cheese and gore to be had."
