After her attackers go free, Gaily Morton, the victim of a vicious assault, commits suicide. Her vengeful brother, brilliant robotics engineer and scientist, Dr. Albert Morton, decides to use his skills to exact vengeance, transplanting his sisters's brain into a humanoid cyborg. With bone-crushing strength and an array of built-in torture devices, Albert begins sending Gaily on a series of missions to violently do away with the men who wronged her...

Reviews

Fun Cult Sci-Fi Thriller

"A very entertaining cult release with a great mix of sci-fi, thriller elements, and stylish presentation. The transfer looks solid, and the film’s energy comes through nicely. A fun addition for fans of offbeat genre cinema."

Steel and lace. . . and an electric stomach drill

"What a very pleasant surprise! Lots of familiar faces in the cast, and so much better than the premise suggests. Excellent effects and some nice understated acting in the quieter moments. Great ending to wrap things us as well. An excellent making of documentary in the extras too, that's well worth a watch. . . . Also, I would love to see a buddy cop movie with just the detective and the coroner!"

Scott L. (5/5)

Feminist Terminator Makes All The Guys Pay

"This one was a lot better than I was expecting. It was like what if Jodie Foster in the Accused came back as the Terminator to make the guys pay that assaulted her. It had some pretty decent kills and effects for it to be a low budget movie. I'd recommend this one for a watch."

Nathan L. (3/5)

Solid

"I went into Steel and Lace with low expectations. I was pleasantly surprised and satisfied that the film moved at a solid pace and always held my attention. It's not going to win any awards but I was not disappointed with my purchase. The technical aspects as always with VS releases was top notch."

Joshua S. (4/5)

Underrated 90s action!

"This one seems to fly under a lot of folk's radar. Above average early 90s action flick. Great restoration and the slip art is killer."

90s sci-fi horror

"A solid pickup for 90s direct-to-video sci-fi horror fans. Nice practical effects and gore with early-90s vibe. The transfer looks sharp, colors are vibrant, and it is a huge step up from old VHS copies. Love the slip."

CHAN T. (5/5)
