In 1966, little Sarah Tusk poisoned her parents to death. Now some twenty years later, Sarah is an inmate at the Lakeview Asylum. Her sister, Victoria, who is now a personal chef, has never forgiven Sarah for her terrible crime and is determined to see her rot in the asylum, and is happy to make Sarah readily aware of her intentions. Little does Victoria realize, Sarah’s bloodlust and insanity have grown and upon learning that her sister won’t help get her out, she hatches a plan to escape on her own. After literally turning Victoria into steak tartare, she ingratiates herself into her sister’s work; fixing a dinner party for Victoria's employers wherein she's the main course. Unfortunately for them, some unwitting cannibalism is the least of their troubles as the meal has been spiked with sleeping pills and the revelers soon awaken in an abandoned wing of Lakeview as guinea pigs in Sarah's demented lab...
Gory, goofy, and all around good "wholesome" fun, director Jerry Ciccoritti’s feature filmmaking debut, PSYCHO GIRLS is an unjustifiably rare Canadian slasher which wastes no time delivering a non-stop barrage of bloodshed, all sandwiched within a deliriously over-the-top and darkly humorous script from Michael Bockner and director Ciccoritti. Never released on disc and long out of commercial circulation, Vinegar Syndrome is proud to present this outrageous course of fine Canuxploitation on Blu-ray for the very first, and presented in its complete version, bursting with brand new extras, and all newly restored in 2K by Vinegar Syndrome.

"Great transfer of an obscure and deranged, yet deliriously entertaining forgotten slasher. Great extras in this release too."
"I have a feeling I already reviewed this, but as it was cheap I bought another copy (I sold my original one). It's not terrible, but it's not great either. It probably starts out better than it finishes and I wanted to like it more than I did, but as 'odd' as it is I really couldn't enjoy it all that much. Certainly don't go into it expecting anything serious and you might have some fun with it."
"I had not experienced Psycho Girls until I bought it blindly. I was charmed by the Artwork. It had some charm to it. Extremely low budget but completely watchable fun. I can't speak much on the restoration as I hadn't seen it prior but it looked good to me. May not be at the top of your list but def rewatchable fun"
"They have some of the best limited editions on the market. My order was bubble wrap for protection and very secure in their packaging, so it wasn't all loose bouncing around during shipping like some companies do. I can the packed with care. Oh and shipping time was pretty fast."
"Looking forward to this one. Good looking release."
"I'll be honest, I don't know much about this release but I decided to add it to an order because it was so inexpensive during a sale, with the slipcover, that I figured it was worth the gamble. Someone spent the time on restoration, I could spend $11 to give it a go. In fact, last I checked, it was still a bout that price - why not check it out?"
"Picked this up very cheap on a blind buy. . . it's OK. Some good kills and quirky humour but could have been better. Great VS package though"
"I never watched this one and ended up selling it."
