Tammy is a popular high school cheerleader whose new boyfriend, Michael, might be the love of her life. But Tammy’s jealous ex, Billy, won’t stand for anyone coming between him and ‘his’ girl, so he and his friends kidnap Michael, leaving him to be mauled by a lion in a local wildlife reserve. Comatose and at death’s door, Michael’s body is stolen from the hospital by mad scientist Dr. Wachenstein, who extracts his brain and implants it into a giant robotic T-Rex. Horrified by his predicament and new dinosaur body, he escapes from the doctor’s lab and begins brutally killing his former bullies. Meanwhile Tammy and her best friend Byron start searching for a suitable human corpse in which to re-transplant Michael's brain...
A jaw-dropping assault on good taste from the whacked out mind of cult filmmaker Stewart Raffill (The Ice Pirates; Mac & Me), TAMMY AND THE T-REX features Denise Richards (Wild Things) in her first starring role, alongside Paul Walker (The Fast & the Furious), Terry Kiser (Weekend at Bernie’s), George “Buck” Flower (They Live), and John F. Goff (Drive-In Massacre). Primarily seen in its heavily censored PG-13 version, Vinegar Syndrome brings TAMMY AND THE T-REX to 4k Ultra HD and Blu-ray fully uncut for the first time on home video, with all of its gross-out gags and gratuitous decapitations, gut-rippings, and head-smashings, courtesy of special effects wizard John Carl Buechler (Mausoleum), completely intact.

Reviews
Better Than You Might Expect
"This begins with a scene of two guys getting in a fight that ends with a standoff of them grabbing each other’s dicks, and only gets dumber and crazier as it goes. Best of all, it actually does have some fairly funny writing, in a way that’s clearly intentional. It’s not the bad movie you might expect, but is rather something that knows what it is, and has fun with it."
— Lucas B. (4/5)
Fantastic
"A masterpiece of so bad it's good. The t-Rex on the pay phone cracks me up so much. The 4K restoration makes the gore and the practical dinosaur effects pop. A life goal of mine is to get that vsmc lenticular slipcover some day"
— Gustavo M. (5/5)
Tanny
"Expected very little from the director of Mac and Me, but to my surprise, I thoroughly enjoyed this movie! It features a very young Denise Richards and the late, great Paul Walker. . . Highly recommended! (And I absolutely love the beautiful lenticular slipcover!)"
— Daniel B. (4/5)
4K 1950's parody fun horror movie made in the 1990's
"I didn't know about this film before seeing and buying it on 4K. The 4K transfer is good though not excellent. I thought that was ok since this was obviously a 1950's era fun-horror movie. Actually, it was shot in the 1990's! Regardless, it's tremendously fun, particularly since the clunky special effects make since since the T-rex is supposed to be a mechanical contraption, not a real animal. The story line of course is beyond ridiculous. But it's still a hoot! Hey, I love T-rexes, whether real or not. This is an incredibly funny movie, particularly when projected in 4K onto a large wall screen with full surround sound. A rampaging good time for all!"

Great to see it uncut for the first time
"I'd missed this as a kid and glad I did as I would have seen the censored PG-13 version. . . it's much much better in this uncut director-approved version. What a bizarre film!"
— Michael L. (5/5)

— Brett C. (5/5)
Dino-mite!
"Because the kids would never believe it, this stands as video documented proof Denise Richards was once the hottest woman alive."
— Andrew N. (5/5)
Fun and quirky!
"Never had heard of this but seeing the young stars listed and reading the wild description made me interested. It was dumb but also pretty funny. Original premise stuck out. Great transfer too. Overall it was worth the purchase."
