This special limited edition spot gloss slipcover (designed by Robert Sammelin) is limited to 5,000 units and is only available on our website and at select indie retailers. Absolutely no major retailers will be stocking them.

Carlos, a serial rapist known as "El Gato", is strapped to an electric chair and executed for his vicious crimes. But, before crossing over into the afterlife, Carlos is visited by a Satanic spirit in the form of a beautiful woman, who makes him an offer that he cannot pass up. After literally making a deal with the devil, Carlos is brought back to life and allowed to continue his drug-fueled spree of rape and murder in order to appease his new Satanic ruler. However, the police are hot on his trail after they discover that this new wave of killings seem to be linked to "El Gato" thanks in part to the signature Carlos is required to leave behind at each murder scene: a 666 carved into the victim's body.

An unbelievably savage movie, INFERNAL RAPIST (aka El violador infernal) proves that Mexico is one of the heavy hitters when it comes to making great genre films. Starring Noé Murayama (Guns for San Sebastian), in the role of Carlos, as well as Mexican genre film icon Princesa Lea (Intrépidos punks), as his satanic ruler, INFERNAL RAPIST is a truly one of kind film that is sure to raise the eyebrows of even the most jaded genre fan. Vinegar Syndrome is proud to present this little seen south of the border shocker on Blu-ray, scanned in 4k and restored from its original camera negative.

Reviews

Infernal indeed

"relentlessly trashy, surreal grindhouse shocker pushes the boundaries of taste into completely unhinged territory"

Kevin G. (5/5)

Weird Mexican movie

"This release has some fun elements. I like cheap fx and wasn’t disappointed by those presented here in that regard. The whole thing is about a criminal brought back to life to commit rapes and murder in the name of evil. In return, he his promised drugs, power, and pleasure for his service. With such a premise, you know the public targeted by this movie won’t be sophisticated intellectuals but more likely fan of trash cinema. Everyone looks like old drug addicts, which may gives a touch of realism to the bad decisions they all seem to make. It may not be the best movie around, but if you like this kind of cinema this is for you."

Francis V. (4/5)

Infernal title

"Certainly something different, not a fun film. I don't anticipate revisiting this film often, I thought it was an interesting idea for a movie, but it just didn't work for me. Picture quality is good though, no complaints there, and the slipcase looks great."

Luke S. (3/5)

Infernal Snoozers

"Cool artwork and slipcover. The movie had a interesting plot but the film itself was kind of dull."

Matt D. (2/5)

This was a lot like

"This was a lot like Coffin Joe in a way. The villainous Gato gives off the same vibes with his grandiose way of speaking. It isn't as tightly made though, hit meanders and doesn't really have a consistent plot."

Stephen S. (4/5)

Only for the Mexican Exploitation completist

"Pretty boring as far as Mexican horror/exploitation go. No cool creatures or monsters, nothing really cool happens. I would only get this if you're a hardcore collector of Mexican films"

Zach H. (3/5)

Infernal Rapist

"Forget about slipcovers, extras and all that jazz. If you have not seen El violador infernal before, you are in for the treat of a life time. A chunky serial rapist/killer is executed, but that’s only the beginning from there on out, you get Satan as a dragqueen, the reborn maniac violating, murdering and carving the sign of the devil [666] onto the bodies of his victims, male and female… this is not everyone’s cup of tea, but it is bat-shit bonkers, trashy as they come, and funny as hell, So yeah, it’s a gem any way you chose to approach it."

Jason M. (5/5)

Infernal rapist

"Great cover and restoration of a weird and extreme film. There’s definitely no hero in this film."

Chris K. (5/5)

Blind buy

"Blind buy top quality packaging as usual"

James H. (5/5)

"Great movie series b"
