It’s Halloween night and a group of bored teenagers decide to pull a ghastly prank (as a means of getting lucky): stealing a corpse from the local morgue and taking it to a nearby cemetery where they perform a Satanic ritual in an attempt to bring it back to life. Unfortunately, they happen to choose the body of a savage serial killer who has just been shot dead by police, ending a recent spate of satanically influenced murders. Unwittingly reviving the bloodthirsty sadist to the realm of the undead, the group of fun-seeking youngsters risk becoming dinner for the devil worshipping zombie, with only occult expert, Dr. Carden (legendary Mexican character actor Hugo Stiglitz), able to try and put an end to the madness.
The directing debut of Rubén Galindo Jr. (Don’t Panic, Grave Robbers), CEMETERY OF TERROR is easily the wildest zombie movie to ever emerge from Mexico! Filled with extra gratuitous gore effects that would feel right at home in a Fulci film and all of the ludicrous plotting of a Bruno Mattei epic, CEMETERY is non-stop thrills and bloodshed from beginning to end. Vinegar Syndrome presents this quintessential piece of Mexican exploitation cinema on Blu-ray, in a new 4K restoration of recently unearthed 35mm negative elements.

"This flick was a wonderfully entertaining surprise with a great horror atmosphere, shot mostly at night at a cemetery. Great production quality and practical effects. Nifty artwork on slip and sleeve, cool extras on disc."
"This was the first Galindo Jr movie I watched and was hooked and curious about Mexican horror films in general. moody, fog-drenched cemetery tones with neon-lit atmosphere, making the outrageous Fulci-style gore effects look absolutely incredible. Seamlessly blending supernatural slashers with a full-blown zombie apocalypse."
"Fun mexican horror movie with dumb characters doing dumb stuff and it is so much fun. Definately worth your time"
"Great mood, good acting. That story has been overcooked by american and italian cinema, but to get it from Mexico is a great experience."
"Decent movie, but the highlight is the artwork on the slipcover!"
"Great transfer, good extras. It's nice to have some of these older Mexican horror in this quality."
"Cool zombie movie with some slasher/occult elements with great effects"
"I picked up Don't Panic as a daily deal and was happy with what I got. The film itself is patchy and derivative but it may be the first horror film whose protagonist fights the big bad in dinosaur jammies. I'm happy to report I enjoyed Cemetery of Terror more, probably because it takes some time to adjust to Galindo's strange rhythm. LOVE the new limited slip (I think I prefer it to the OG) and there are two other covers on the reversible artwork inside. There's a respectable amount of extras (an interview with Galindo and commentary from The Hysteria Continues lads, always a fun hang. ) Having got this just before selling out, I plan on picking up Grave Robbers to complete the trifecta."
"Awesome release and one of the first I ever bought. I love the effects and the general vibe of this. The best of the 3 films from this directed released by VS."
"Love the slipcover for this! These movies are always a blast to watch!"
