"It does get pretty dark by the end, but there's more humor than horror here. That's a good thing as far as I'm concerned. An odd plot with some Japanese inspirations, it's well shot, written, and performed. Interesting mental health aspects as well. Likeable actors and some decent effects make for a great watch. Worth picking up."

"I will watch anything that gets the Justin Benson/Aaron Moorehead stamp of approval. Both of whom are billed as Executive Producers. Someone that is adjacent to their filmography, the ever-talented Lou Taylor Pucci (Spring) is the antagonist in this story. His involvement alone was enough to pique my interest and make me want to check this out, and I'm glad that I did. From what I read beforehand, Touch Me seems to have a deep underlying theme of addiction but I guess a lot of that went over my head. I was too busy having a good time watching the relationship become even more hilariously complex between the two lead characters, Joey (Olivia Taylor Dudley) and Craig (Jordan Gavaris). Both had me laughing so much at their natural chemistry. Playing co-dependent roommates, a good portion of the comedy was seeing them fight over who gets to have cross-species intercourse with Brian (Lou Taylor Pucci). I found the humor in Touch Me to be right out in the open and quite plentiful to give this the proper midnight movie feel it's going for. I think it's refreshing to see modern sci-fi that doesn't take itself too serious and jokes about things like track suits, Silence of the Lambs cream, Austin Powers, hip hop dance classes, and sugar free lemonade mix. I'm definitely adding this one to the collection."
